One of the highlights of our conference experience was the enlightening presentation by our very own Cataract Refractive Specialist Eye Surgeon Dr. Peter Sumich. With gusto and expertise, Dr. Sumich shared his remarkable results post cataract procedures involving Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) Intraocular Lenses (IOLs). His findings unveiled an exciting realm of possibilities, demonstrating an amplified probability of spectacle independence for crucial tasks like driving and utilising mobile devices. These insights have not only expanded our clinical horizons but have ignited a newfound motivation to explore innovative avenues within our own practice.
